Darujme.cz is the largest online giving platform in the Czech Republic. Since 2012, under the umbrella of the Via Foundation, it has served thousands of nonprofit organizations, institutions, schools and churches, helping them raise billions of CZK for public benefit purposes.

Before you start the registration, make sure that your organization meets a few basic requirements
Darujme.cz is intended for nonprofit organizations, nonprofit-sector institutions, churches and religious societies, schools and certain self-governing units in the Czech Republic that are eligible recipients of donations for public benefit projects under the Income Tax Act, fulfill the legal obligations imposed by Czech law, have a public benefit mission, are transparent towards their donors, the public, the tax office, etc., and are politically non-partisan and independent. The Darujme.cz service is strictly intended for legal entities, so a natural person cannot be registered in the program as a recipient of financial support.
This results in the following registration requirements:
the organization has one of the accepted legal forms (see below),
the organization regularly (annually) publishes an annual report including a financial section, or an activity and financial report, which is readily available on the organization's website*,
a donation made to the organization is a qualifying donation within the meaning of the Income Tax Act, i.e. the donor can deduct its value from their income tax base (natural persons under Section 15(1) of the Income Tax Act; legal entities under Section 20(8) of the Income Tax Act),
it properly records and accounts for the donations received and always uses them in accordance with the organization's declared purpose, mission and goals,
the organization's main activity or mission is not political activity or direct support of a political party or candidate, including presidential candidates.**
the organization's activities are in line with the Code of Ethics of Darujme.cz
All of these criteria are verified during the registration process.
The Darujme.cz service is strictly intended for legal entities, so a natural person cannot be registered in the program as a recipient of financial support.
* Organizations that have been operating for less than one year (i.e. that have not yet been able to publish an annual report or any other activity and financial report) may register on the condition that they submit an affidavit in which they commit to issuing and publishing annual reports including a financial section, or activity and financial reports.
** Activities aimed at the general cultivation of the political environment, such as fighting corruption, advocating for specific legislation, voter education and the like, do not conflict with this rule, and organizations engaged in such activities may register for the service.

How does registration work?
We usually complete the whole process, from submitting the application to activating the account, within a matter of days:
A representative of a nonprofit organization, nonprofit-sector institution, church, school or one of the eligible self-governing units in the Czech Republic fills in the registration form and attaches the required documents. Darujme.cz administrators check all the requirements and compliance with the terms of the service within 5 business days of the registration form being submitted and send a notification to the organization's representative. If anything needs to be clarified or added during the registration process, a Darujme.cz representative will contact the organization's representative.
If your registration is approved, we will send you an Intermediary Agreement to sign via the online service DocuSign or Signi. Once the agreement is signed, we will activate your organization's account (within 5 business days at most) and you can start using the Darujme.cz service.
Costs of registering and using the service
Darujme.cz is an independent non-commercial project run by nonprofit organizations for nonprofit organizations.
To cover the day-to-day operation of the service, nonprofit organizations are charged fees according to the current pricing.
These fees give us independence, scalability and efficiency. They cover the necessary costs of operating and developing the portal, processing donation payments and supporting all our target groups. The fees already include all bank, card and other similar charges.
Donation processing
Donors enter their donation and their details on the donation form, which they reach, for example, via the donation widget on the organization's website, the campaign page of the organization/institution/church, a direct link in an e-mail and so on. Alternatively, they enter the donation via the nonprofit organization's own donation form. Depending on the selected payment method, the donor is then redirected to the relevant payment method page to complete the donation (the card payment gateway, online banking or a page with instructions for placing a bank transfer order).
For all payment methods, the funds are received in the Darujme.cz bank account, account number 2198370339/0800, which is owned by the Via Foundation and subject to regular financial audits. The whole process meets the highest security standards. Every incoming donation is assigned to its target organization. If the recipient of a donation cannot be identified, the money is returned to the account it was received from.
In regular batches, weekly or monthly depending on the organization's choice, the accumulated donations are sent to the designated accounts of the nonprofit organizations, less the operating fee according to the pricing. At the same time, the system automatically sends statement files for the given batch of donations, itemized by individual donation, to the designated e-mail addresses. Organization administrators also have a real-time overview of donations in their user accounts.
The information about each donation also includes the donor's contact details and any additional information they have provided.
Who is responsible for maintaining the relationship with a donor who donated to us through Darujme.cz?
You and your organization. Darujme.cz is merely an intermediary and a technical helper. The donor uses it to donate to your organization, so it is your responsibility to maintain and develop this relationship.
Who does a donation made by a donor through Darujme.cz belong to? Is it a donation to the donation portal or a donation to our nonprofit organization?
The donation always belongs to the organization – Darujme.cz is only a secure technical intermediary that follows strict data protection rules and acts solely as an intermediary under the Civil Code.
Who owns the data that a donor provides about themselves to Darujme.cz?
The data is yours, and Darujme.cz hands it over to you in full together with the regular statement of donations received. Darujme.cz will not use your donors' data for any fundraising or other marketing purpose. The only exceptions are the electronic notification to the donor confirming receipt of their donation, compliance with legal obligations and the handling of situations related to the Darujme.cz platform and donating.
Who issues the tax-deductible donation certificate?
The donation certificate is always issued by the recipient of the donation – i.e. your organization. If a donor has requested a certificate, you are obliged to issue it. Darujme.cz makes this easier – you can issue the certificate directly from the platform's administration, without having to handle it manually outside the system, or let the donor download it directly from their donor account. Failure to fulfill the obligation to issue a certificate may be grounds for exclusion from using the Darujme.cz service.

Personal fundraisers are an increasingly popular and globally growing trend in peer-to-peer fundraising that helps hundreds of organizations on Darujme.cz every year gain support beyond their usual circle of donors. The principle is simple: a supporter of a nonprofit organization, whom we call an ambassador, reaches out to the people around them – friends, family, colleagues and others – and asks them to donate to an organization or a specific project of their choice. This most often happens on an occasion connected with the ambassador – a birthday, a wedding or, say, running a marathon.

Darujme.cz provides features that let users easily start such a personal fundraiser online and use all the payment options that Darujme.cz offers. The nonprofit organization sees an overview of all the fundraisers that ambassadors have started on its behalf, receives notifications about newly started fundraisers and also gets contact details for its ambassadors.
Donations are processed in the usual way, just like for nonprofit organizations' projects – they are received directly in the Darujme.cz account and forwarded in regular batches to the target organization chosen by the donor. The ambassador is thus effectively acting as a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization, collecting donations for the given charitable cause from the people around them. As an organization, you should therefore not neglect the relationship and communication not only with the donors you gain thanks to the ambassador, but also with the ambassador themselves.

We are a purely volunteer-run organization. Can we use Darujme.cz?
You can. Bear in mind that getting online fundraising off the ground takes time, but here too our Academy and consultations will help you make the most of it. The condition remains that your organization must meet the transparency criteria.
Can we use the online payment methods offered to sell our T-shirts, bags, books, etc.?
Unfortunately not, if it is a "regular sale" (i.e. not a public collection through the sale of items). The online payment methods are offered exclusively for the purpose of making donations to charitable projects.
Do we need to have a registered public collection in order to use Darujme.cz?
You do not need a public collection. Moreover, since January 2025 an amendment to the Public Collections Act has been in force under which donations received cashlessly to a bank account – which is exactly how donations via Darujme.cz work – are included in the public collection regime only on the basis of your voluntary decision. However, you must be able to record and account for every donation and, on request, issue a donation certificate to every donor or, where applicable, conclude a donation agreement with them.
