Our story

From a simple idea to the largest giving platform in the Czech Republic

Since 2012, we have grown into the largest online giving platform in the Czech Republic, serving nonprofit organizations, institutions, cities, municipalities and regions across the country. We provide secure and reliable infrastructure that makes the whole process easier – from receiving a donation to nurturing the relationship with the donor. Founding
The Via Foundation launches the Darujme.cz platform

The first billion for nonprofit organizations
Covid and solidarity after the tornado in Moravia brought the Czech Republic together in record support – for the first time, Darujme.cz passes CZK 1 billion in donations since its founding.
2022
Record year
A wave of solidarity with Ukraine contributes to the highest annual volume of donations in history – CZK 764 million in a single year.

Growth even without crises
Giving outside of emergency fundraisers is growing faster than ever before. This proves that donating is becoming a permanent part of life for people in the Czech Republic, not just a reaction to crises.

How Darujme.cz is funded

We fund the platform's operation through service fees according to our current pricing. This allows us to remain an independent, non-commercial platform and to keep developing the service for organizations and their donors over the long term. The fees include all bank, card and other related costs.
