Code of Ethics

The Darujme.cz portal is a comprehensive and secure tool for online giving. Its aim is to be liberal in outlook, open and apolitical. We strive to provide room to grow for nonprofit organizations and other legal forms which, in particular:

  1. are consistent with democratic values and support the development of democracy,

  2. promote equal opportunities, i.e. actively take part in creating an environment that fosters diversity, understanding and respect,

  3. do not permit any discrimination prohibited by applicable law,

  4. work on the basis of truthful information and facts, do not knowingly spread disinformation and choose ethical means to promote their activities,

  5. carry out public benefit activities and use the funds raised for the purpose for which they were established,

  6. ensure the greatest possible transparency of the organization and use tools to that end such as publishing annual reports, financial statements, etc., thereby helping to build trust with the public,

  7. are not in a conflict of interest, i.e. act in a way that avoids any conflict of interest that could undermine public trust,

  8. ensure the protection of donors' personal data.

In the event of a serious suspicion that an organization is in direct conflict with the points set out above, the operator may deactivate its account. Any such deactivation is decided by the operator's board of directors. If a decision is made to deactivate an account, the organization will be informed and given the opportunity to respond. The final decision rests with the operator's board of directors.

At the same time, Darujme.cz reserves the right to refuse to register an organization on ethical grounds, as well as where there is a suspicion that the above conditions are being breached. Darujme.cz also reserves the right to refuse to provide its services to anyone, at any time and for any reason. The Darujme.cz service is strictly intended for legal entities. It is therefore not possible to register a natural person in the program as a recipient of financial support.
Furthermore, the main activity or mission of an organization applying for registration may not be political activity or direct support of a political party or candidate, including presidential candidates. Activities aimed at the general cultivation of the political environment, such as fighting corruption, advocating for specific legislation, voter education and the like, do not conflict with this rule, and organizations engaged in such activities may register for the service.
