Daňové přiznání pomáhá: when a tax return turns into help

For many people, tax return season is an annual necessity that they often
deal with at the last minute and reluctantly. The Daňové přiznání pomáhá (Tax Return Helps) project turns this
obligation into an opportunity – not only for taxpayers, but also for nonprofit
organizations.

Thanks to the integration with the Darujme.cz platform, a unique system has been created in which
people fill in their tax return online in a few minutes and can at the same time
support a specific nonprofit organization with a financial donation. This is where
an opportunity opens up for your organization, too.

What is Daňové přiznání pomáhá and how does it work?
The project operates under the OnlinePřiznání.cz brand and offers an intuitive web
application that guides users step by step through filling in their tax
return.
The whole process is designed to be:

fast (a tax return done in roughly 15 minutes),
easy to understand even for laypeople,
secure and fully compliant with legislation.

After completing the return, the user downloads the form (or generates an XML file for
their data box) and then has the option to donate an amount of CZK 290 (or
more) to support a participating nonprofit organization. The donation is made directly
through Darujme.cz.

Why should nonprofit organizations join the project?

often instead of the money they would otherwise spend on accounting services. For a nonprofit, this
