On September 7, 2017, one of the most devastating earthquakes in the history of Mexico, with a destructive force of 8.2 magnitude, struck the southern part of the state of Chiapas. Just 12 days later and several hundred kilometers away, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake shook central Mexico, overturning buildings, disrupting gas pipelines, causing power outages, and triggering fires in the city and other towns in central Mexico. The damages were extensive in the entire central and southern part of the country. "NF Happy Hearts" staví safe schools in areas affected by natural disasters. Together with partners, they have already completed 340 schools.
Andrew (5 years old) now attends Cri Cri kindergarten in the city of Pochutla (Oaxaca state), which we built for local children. Now, we need to build a school so that the children have a place to continue their education.

Happy Hearts Fund rebuilds safe, resilient schools in areas affected by natural disasters and teaches children about philanthropy. The Foundation was established by Petra Němcová and Karolína Bosáková after their personal experience with the tsunami in 2004. Through schools, we bring hope and support to the generations of children and to all communities.

🧡Filipino children need our help Our school in the Philippines survived Super Typhoon Fung-Wong. But the children and their families still need our help.
Our donors and volunteers have just returned from the Philippines. The school, which we almost completed, withstood winds of 250 km/h. But the people around it were left without homes, water, and safety.
Our schools are not only places of education for children, but also community centers where local people can come together and find support. Happy Hearts schools are also safe havens for the community from other natural disasters.
