Bátor Tábor (Camp of Courage) has been a Central European Center for Therapeutical Recreation of seriously ill children since 2001. We change lives. We provide life-changing experiences, strength and tools to live and to recover for seriously ill children and their families. All of these are free. We believe that the sun always shines above the clouds. Our camp is not a summer camp in the classical meaning of the term. We place children outside of their comfort zones through special experiences. By overcoming their fears, they recognise their readiness to confront not only the challenges involved in their adventures, but also their illness. We put smiles on their faces; we give them power for their struggle.
