Safe space for everyone is a registered association that stands behind the project Safe space bookstore. Safe space bookstore is the first activist bookstore and community center in the Czech Republic. We create a safe, inclusive, and open environment where people can meet, learn, and find support—regardless of their identity, experiences, or life situation. Our vision is a society based on respect, equality, and solidarity. That’s why we host discussions, workshops, lectures, and cultural events that open the way to understanding. In our bookstore, you’ll find literature on human rights, inclusion, feminism, LGBTQ+ topics, as well as independent publishing. We operate as a non-profit organization. This means that instead of chasing profit in gastronomy, we want to focus our energy on building community, supporting marginalized groups, and creating a space where everyone can feel welcome.
