Developing a Pilgrimage Site for All

The Church of Our Lady Victorious is an important cultural and spiritual landmark, visited by around 500,000 people each year. Between 2019 and 2025, an extensive reconstruction of the terrace was carried out, including the construction of access ramps to the church, a visitor centre, and public restrooms. Thanks to these improvements, the church has become accessible to all visitors, including people with reduced mobility and parents with prams, and now offers appropriate facilities for visitors.

Cultural and Social Events

For the past ten years, the monastery has hosted the year-round spiritual and social project "Člověk v dialogu", which addresses a wide range of current topics and invites visitors to encounter one another and engage in discussion. In 2025, the programme included, for example, a lecture by Ladislav Heryán, a debate on current events in Slovakia, and a contemplative evening At the Very Centre of the Soul.

The "Hudba pro duši" project brings large-scale concerts to the church, featuring works by classical and contemporary composers, and these events are open to the general public.

Educational Programmes for Schools

The "Stopy" project offers guided educational programmes for school groups. Through these programmes, children explore traces of history, culture, and past generations and reflect on their significance for life today. The programmes are tailored to different age groups, from first-grade pupils to secondary school students. During Advent, special programmes with a Christmas theme are offered.
