This system needs a Re-set. Now Re-set needs you.

For six years, Re-set has been raising urgent issues in Czechia to the forefront and putting solutions into practice. But we now face growing uncertainty about whether we will be able to continue this work next year. That is why we are launching a fundraising campaign to raise 374 558 CZK (15 408 EUR) to cover our essential expenses. We were the first to raise the alarm about fossil fuel oligarchs, and we launched a community energy project in a coal region. We bring together and advise dozens of solidarity economy projects across the country. We helped launch the Tenants’ Initiative, which has since grown into a mass movement. Demand for our workplace organising workshops is growing exponentially. We are here for everyone working alongside us for systemic change. Does our work matter to you? Please donate to help us keep going. The most helpful way to support us, however, is to become a regular donor. Even a small monthly donation helps us plan for the long term, support more initiatives and continue the work we believe matters.

We raise issues that others shy away from and call things what they are. We have brought into public debate the need to approach the transition in coal regions from the perspective of those directly affected, the destructive influence of the fossil fuel oligarchy, the concept of solidarity economies, and the challenges of affordable rental housing and summer energy poverty. We take a comprehensive approach to these problems, combining research and analysis with work on the ground. Our work extends beyond major cities to smaller towns and wherever we are needed.

In recent years, opportunities for funding have been shrinking. International foundations based in Europe have long been our main source of income. But their resources, too, are gradually declining as private donors show less interest in climate and social issues. Our allies and colleagues around the world are facing the same funding shortages and have to scale back their work as well.
