Created 10/29/2026A Full Bowl Every Day: Help Us Feed 10 Stray Cats in Prague
Stanislav Beran
Ten shy stray cats near the Spojovací tram stop in Prague have no homes of their own. But they do have insulated shelters and a group of friends who bring them food and fresh water every day, whatever the weather. Please help us fill their bowls with nutritious food so they can stay strong through the winter cold. Every donation helps. 🧡
They have no sofa to curl up on and no one whose lap they can fall asleep in. But they do have a familiar place, insulated shelters, and us — people who bring them food every single day. Will you help us keep their bowls full throughout the winter?
Ten stray cats live on the grounds of a car repair shop near the Spojovací tram stop in Prague. They are adult cats who are very wary of people. Adapting to life as household pets would be extremely difficult for them. Here, they know their surroundings and have shelter, and together we make sure they receive regular care.
Together with five friends, I take turns feeding them every day. In rain, snow, freezing temperatures, and summer heat. We bring them wet food, dry food, and fresh water. We regularly replace the wood wool bedding in their insulated shelters so they always have a dry place to curl up.
All ten cats have been neutered. We keep an eye on their wellbeing and are ready to arrange veterinary care whenever they need it.
But feeding ten cats every day is a considerable expense. That is why we are asking for your help. We want to keep providing nutritious food and make sure there is enough for them throughout the winter.
Your donation will go towards wet and dry food for these ten cats. Something simple, yet essential: a full meal every day and the energy they need when the temperature drops.
They may never come close enough for you to stroke them. But they will feel your kindness with every bowl you help fill.
Please give whatever amount you can comfortably afford. Even a small donation will help us buy their next batch of food. And if you cannot donate, we would be grateful if you could share this appeal.
Thank you for helping us care for these ten cats. And for remembering those who prefer to stay quietly out of sight. 🧡
