Unlocking the Future: Czech-Ukrainian Children's Center

We have the building and the blueprint for the Czech-Ukrainian Children's Center near Odesa. However, before our volunteers can pick up their tools and begin the reconstruction, we must overcome legal and bureaucratic hurdles. Our immediate goal is to raise 200,000 CZK by the end of this month to cover urgent legal, attorney, and building permit fees. Without this formal foundation, the construction cannot legally begin. Help us break through this first major obstacle!
Thanks to the incredible dedication of our Ukrainian mother organization, we have acquired a house roughly 30 km from Odesa. Our dream and ultimate goal is to transform it into a safe haven for children affected by the war – a place providing psychological support, tutoring, and a space to rest. We have a clear vision and a complete reconstruction plan ready.
But before the first volunteers and construction equipment can arrive at the site, we face the less visible, yet absolutely critical phase of the project: the paperwork.
Why do we need funds right now? Time is running out. We must cover the amount of 200,000 CZK by the end of the month. These funds will be used for:
Attorney fees for comprehensive legal services related to the property.
Securing building and legislative permits required to launch the reconstruction.
Obtaining official project documentation directly in Ukraine.
Legal certainty and compliance are the foundations upon which the entire center stands. If we do not raise this amount by the deadline, the entire project will stall before it even begins.
We are building this house together – for the safety of Ukrainian children today, and for tomorrow's international projects and seaside camps with Czech schools. Every donation, large or small, helps us hit this monthly milestone and brings us one step closer to our goal.

Building and launching a children's center is a marathon, not a sprint. Your financial support will allow us not only to complete the challenging renovation step by step, but also to ensure the stable and safe operation of the center moving forward. Every donation—whether a one-off gift or a regular monthly contribution—helps us purchase construction materials, furnish classrooms and playrooms, and pay professional child psychologists and educators.
As soon as the construction work is finished, we will open our doors to volunteers and, most importantly, to the children who will find refuge here.
Furthermore, our vision extends far beyond the horizon of the current war. Odesa is located on the beautiful Black Sea coast, and we want this center to serve as a lasting international bridge in the future. We plan to host long-term exchange programs, summer camps, and joint educational projects for Ukrainian and Czech schoolchildren. We are building a place where lifelong friendships will be forged.
