Here we are. 😊 Our big day! After 17 years together, we’ve decided to make it official – and yes, we’ve thought it through very carefully. ❤️
To celebrate our wedding, we’d like to ask for a slightly unconventional wedding gift. If you wish, you can support SOFA, an organization close to our hearts.
Together, we hope to raise funds for Young SOFA, our youth advisory group that gives young people a platform to speak about the issues that matter to them and to take part in shaping the decisions that affect their lives.
Those who know me know that every contribution will be turned into meaningful action where it is needed most.

Young SOFA - When Children and Young People Have a Voice
What does school look like through the eyes of children? What do they need to feel safe at school? How should we talk about mental health and what truly matters in education?
What does school look like through the eyes of children? What do they need to feel safe at school? How should we talk about mental health and what truly matters in education?
These are the questions that Young SOFA seeks to answer. Young SOFA is a group of young people from across the Czech Republic who have decided to actively shape the world around them. They are not experts sitting behind desks. They are students themselves, experiencing the reality of school life every day.
Today, Young SOFA brings together 23 active members from 7 regions of the Czech Republic, and we are working to expand this community even further. Together, they bring the perspectives of children and adolescents into discussions about education, mental health, and safety in schools.
Their voices have already been heard at professional conferences, meetings of the Czech Parliament’s Education Committee, in the development of educational materials, and in the media. Young people create their own recommendations and infographics, and share experiences that help teachers, schools, and professionals better understand what children truly need.
Young people have simple but powerful messages for teachers:
“Remember that your words have power – they can either break us or strengthen us.”
“You’re amazing for putting up with us. Don’t be afraid to be human, make mistakes, explore, and expect the same from us.”
“Teach because you truly want to teach.”
Your support will help fund gatherings of young people from different parts of the country, training and development opportunities for Young SOFA members, their participation in conferences and meetings with experts, and the creation of materials that can improve the lives of thousands of children in schools.
Every donation helps ensure that children are not merely listeners to adults’ decisions, but active partners in shaping them.
