We invite you to the 6th annual charity run in support of Mobile Hospice 14 Helpers. You can support us by participating in person, joining virtually, or simply by making a donation.
🦋 The registration fee is a donation to Home Hospice 14 Helpers in its entirety. 🦋
Your donation = your registration. You do not need to bring anything with you; we will verify your registration using the participant list. Please select the donation amount according to the number of registered participants (choose "Other Amount" in the donation form).

Event Schedule
13:00 – Registration and verification of online registrations on site 13:45 – Running workshop with ambassador Miloš Škorpil 14:00 – Mass start led by our ambassadors (you may join at any time during the event) 17:00 – Event closing
At the start, each participant will receive a race number and a tool for tracking completed laps. At the finish line, participants will report their result, receive a small reward, and have the opportunity to take a photo in the finish-line photo frame 📸
You can also look forward to an accompanying programme, light refreshments, and, of course, Lomnice beer 🍺
Every donor will receive a commemorative 14 Helpers Run Certificate by email after the event.
14 Helpers Run Ambassadors
Miloš Škorpil – running guru, long-time running coach, and author of numerous books on running and healthy living
Pavel Kysela – ultrarunner from Jablonec nad Nisou and participant in numerous endurance challenges
Petra Vrbová – physician and palliative care patient who, through her own fundraising challenge, raised more than CZK 1 million for hospices in 2025
Route Information
The basic route consists of one lap around Ostrov Island, measuring 740 metres. It is entirely up to you how many laps you choose to run or walk!
Each of the 14 laps is dedicated to one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers:
On Sunday, we spent a wonderful day together at Ostrov in Semily during the 6th annual 14 HelpersRun charity event. Despite the changing weather, the atmosphere was fantastic!
Let's look back at the day through a few impressive numbers:
👉 More than 120 participants 👉 1,225 laps completed = 906.5 km covered together
Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, cheered, donated, helped with the organization, or supported us from afar. Our sincere thanks also go to all our volunteers and photographers.
A special thank you to our ambassadors, all of whom joined us in person. Miloš Škorpil from the Running School of Miloš Škorpil led a running technique workshop before the start and completed an impressive 15 laps himself. Pavel Kysela finished his week-long challenge at Ostrov with his traditional 14 km run. And Petra Vrbová, despite her health condition, completed her favourite distance of 6 km.

"To be close to another person, to be with them — that is what matters most, in love, in life, and in dying." (E. Kübler-Ross) Mobile Hospice 14 Helpers provides care for patients who wish to spend the final stage of their lives at home, surrounded by their loved ones. We are a non-profit organization providing registered health and social care services in Semily and within a 30 km radius. However, our care is not fully covered by health insurance companies. To remain available to everyone who needs us, we rely on the support of people who care about how the end of life can be lived.
Even a small regular donation makes a big difference.
Thanks to regular support, we can plan our care, maintain on-call services, support our nurses, doctors, social worker, and other members of our team, and be ready to reach patients whenever needed.
💰 CZK 200 per month helps cover a nurse’s journey to a patient 💰 CZK 500 per month helps ensure care is available even during night hours 💰 CZK 1,000 per month helps cover part of the costs of one day of home hospice care
