Valentine’s Day is about love – and what better way to show love than by protecting children from the dangers of pornography, which they can easily access online?
At just 13 years old, Adam accidentally stumbled upon pornographic content on his phone. His parents didn’t notice until he started withdrawing from friends and feeling more sadness and anxiety than joy. Unfortunately, stories like Adam’s are becoming more common.
It is common for children and young people to be exposed to pornography online.
Statistics show:
- 76% of people watch porn at least once a month
- Nearly 33% of teenagers watch porn weekly or more often
- 31% of children watch porn to relax
With your help, we can create a safer internet and protect children like Adam:
- 500 CZK – covers half the cost of free support for one person struggling with porn addiction
- 1000 CZK – provides free counseling and support for someone battling pornography
- 2200 CZK – funds a preventive school program, educating children on staying safe online

Our goal is to raise awareness of the dangers of pornography and to help (especially through e-coaching) those who are struggling with addictive behavior connected with watching pornography.

Adam was just a kid when he accidentally came across pornography online.
At first, he watched it out of curiosity, but over time it became an addiction that took away part of his adolescence, affected his mental health, and complicated his relationships with others.
“I used it as an escape when my parents were fighting at home. I knew that if I watched porn, at least for a while, I could forget about what was going on,” says Adam. And he’s not alone.
Statistics show that nearly a third of teenagers watch porn once a week or more. For boys, it’s even 52%. Many kids also use pornography as a way to unwind or relax.
Pornography is now just a few clicks away, and kids often stumble upon it by accident. Watching pornography affects mental health and relationships – and overcoming addiction is not easy.
“I felt like it completely took control of me. Every fall pulled me back into porn, and the longer I was in it, the harder it was to get out…,” says Adam.
