Maxion Wheels Czech Helps People Affected By Floods 2024

In mid-September, the Czech Republic was hit by a devastating disaster that affected many residents, families and communities. Because of the 2024 floods, many people lost their comfort of life, their facilities, some even their roof over their heads and livelihood. The company Maxion Wheels Czech also decided to lend a helping hand to these people and set up this fundraiser, the proceeds of which will go to People in Need, who will distribute it fairly among those who need it most. We believe that even the smallest amount will contribute to the people affected by this disaster being able to return to their lives and ensure comfort for themselves and their families. In mid-september, devastating floods struck Poland, Romania, and the Czech Republic, affecting countless residents, including some of our colleagues in Ostrava.
Our local team responded swiftly, organizing disaster relief efforts by collecting food, clothing, and cleaning supplies. On Friday, September 20, the first donations were delivered to the emergency center set up in Ostrava to support those impacted by the floods. The collection will continue throughout this week as well.
In addition to providing essential supplies, Maxion has initiated a financial fundraiser in a collaboration with „People in Need“, a Czech non-governmental, not-profit organization assisting flood victims across the Czech Republic. This fundraiser will be conducted via online platform darujme.cz, where you can donate any amount you decide.
We are pleased to announce that Maxion will match all financial donations made by employees, doubling the impact of every contribution.
We encourage everyone to participate in this fundraiser. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping our colleagues and communities recover from this difficult time.
