Fighting Against Loneliness

There are over 500,000 elderly people living alone in the Czech Republic. 90% of them wish to live at home, as opposed to a caring facility.

The Krása Pomoci Foundation helps them live a dignified life in their home environment by providing services from personal care, through administrative assistance to food preparation. The foundation supports those who have no one else to turn to, connecting them with carers and volunteers, according to their individual needs - even if it's just going for a walk or having a chat. The Foundation also supports individuals with caring responsibilities for others, assists people over fifty with finding employment, and provides financial aid to other NGOs that look after the elderly.

I am proud to be fighting for Krása Pomoci as part of the White Collar Fight Club. My fight will take place on the 8th of June at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. In order to prepare, I will be training intensively for the next 8 weeks. I will be pushing myself physically, as well as mentally,  and I will most likely also be doing far too many burpees for my liking. So please, support in whatever way you can!
