40th birthday with the refrigerator for the Unicorn

A little over 3 years ago, an advertisement for the Farmer's School caught my eye - I had no idea such a thing existed, and at that time, I had no desire to pursue any studies. Like a proper advertisement, it began appearing repeatedly, always bringing tears to my eyes. And here we are again, back to caring for the land. Although my life seemed to be heading in a different direction, "there was nothing left to do but admit" that I would return to studying after years and learn how to care for the land in an environmentally friendly way and acquire all the necessary skills for sustainable farming.

Fast forward 3 years later - I've just completed the school and I'm starting to work at the Unicorn Ecological Farm 🍀. Hooray!
What can I say about the farm?
It's located in the village of Roblín near Prague and is the Farmer's School's farm for the second year in a row. The farm is characterized by a diverse agricultural organism that not only feeds people but also revitalizes the landscape. Vegetables and fruits are grown here, arable land is cared for, and livestock are raised, including cows, sheep, goats, chickens, and ducks. It is also a center for practical education and a meeting place for the community of subscribers within the Community Supported Agriculture system.

This season, the farm is preparing to expand its vegetable production and share fresh food with an even larger group of stakeholders. However, with such expansion, the current cooling capacities of the farm are no longer sufficient. Especially in hot summer months, cooling space for vegetables is crucial, as it allows for the delivery of fresh lettuce, crisp cucumbers, or juicy asparagus to our subscribers. By purchasing the refrigerator, the farm professionalizes as an organic vegetable producer.
