This years pilgrimage is for everyone who is not this lucky. With YOUR HELP, I would love to transform the life of someone, who's life journey is different.

In August, I am going on a pilgrimage to follow in the footsteps of pilgrims who have chosen to go to the Holy Land for one reason or another. My destination is not the Holy Land, maybe some other time :-D This time it will be a journey through Italy.
And how can you join?
How about sending a hundred crowns or more for every kilometer walked :-) We can easily spend a hundred crowns nowadays... How about spending it with the idea that it can help someone?

Why support Charity Jindřichův Hradec?
It is an organization I stand behind. It is dedicated to all those who are in need at any given moment, whether they are individuals, but also whole families, children and young people in a difficult life situation. More information can be found in the project description above. For example, it currently needs to secure a car for outreach services so that workers can travel to clients and be able to help them promptly.

Automobil slouží sociálním pracovnicím Sociálně aktivizační služby pro rodiny s dětmi sv. Rity. Pracovnice denně pracují s rodiči, kteří se ocitli v nelehké životní situaci, ale zároveň jim záleží na tom, aby jejich děti nadále žily co nejnormálnější život. Právě proto k do Charity přicházejí a sociální pracovnice je navštěvují v jejich přirozeném prostředí doma.
Automobil jsme mohli zakoupit díky podpoře z rozpočtu Jihočeského kraje ve výši 250 000 Kč. Zbytek peněz jsme získali z dárcovské výzvy Říďa na cestách. Tu jste podpořili i Vy, jež jste sledovali moji pěší pouť dlouhou bezmála tisíc kilometrů z Říma do Santa Maria di Leuca. Vybralo se tak nádherných 40 800 Kč. Na nákup vozu Charita použila i část výtěžku z ChariFestu. Konkrétně se jednalo o 12 209 Kč.

The first day of the pilgrimage is behind me.
I managed to secure everything starting with the credential (which is something like a pilgrim ID card) through the first stamp in the credential to buying the necessary equipment in decathlon (including pins and gas bomb - which cannot be taken on the plane).
I walked a lot through the city, but a little less than I expected along the route itself. I'll have a lot more catching up to do as time goes on. But it's good to remember that it's not about the distance traveled.
I went to Mass this morning, where the sermon was about Moses' encounter with God and how he shone after meeting him. What are we shining with? What are we filled with? Or where do we meet God? For me, it's about the pilgrimage. That's why I'm here.

Slowly but surely, the start is approaching. Like last year, I tell myself that I will do everything I need to do on time and start with a calm mind. No. I'm unteachable. Backpack still not packed. Maybe this is what my pilgrimage is all about. Knowing how to let go.

Thanks to all of you for your support! We already managed to raise 4 000 CZK, an equivalent of 40km, amazing! That makes me very happy! Thank you!

P.S.: Do you know far do I have to walk on average? It should be 35km. I will walk a bit less in the first few days to break it up and then I'll also have a bit of elevation gain, so I'll be catching up afterwards and 40km/day will definitely be a reality.
