Tomorrow, my 6-year-old son and I will depart to Porto, where we will start the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. We have conceived our journey as a challenge through which we would like to motivate you to financially support the Single Mothers Club and help those who do not have an easy life and for whom overcoming obstacles is a daily reality. In return, I will share the progress of our journey with you :-)
When I first embarked on this journey in 2020, it was for a simple reason: to take a break from everyday worries and realise a long-held dream. When I returned last year, my son wanted to join me. So we promised him that this year we would go together. Everyone who goes on the pilgrimage has a reason. Some want to have an adventure, to see new places or meet new people, others want to change their life, to overcome some obstacles, to push their limits.
Every pilgrim who walks at least the last 100 km will receive a compostela (certificate of completion of the pilgrimage) after presenting the pilgrim’s passport. In addition to the compostela, we would like to collect funds for the Single Mothers Club.
