Shock, helplessness, despair, fear, insecurity, pain ... each of us will remember not only these words while watching what´s happen in Ukraine.
Until Wednesday, February 23, 2022, many of us firmly believed that diplomacy, humanity and at least a bit of common sense would prevail, and that an absolutely unreasonable attack on Ukraine by Russia would never start.

Wish we could help all the affected families, especially the suddenly divided families, whose wives and children are desperately, in fear and cold, waiting for endless hours at the borders to get to foreign countries and to safety. They left their relatives far behind, homes that may no longer exist after the attacks and incredibly brave men trying their best to defend their country.
We thank all those who are not indifferent to the situation, and we believe that with this call we will be able to get at least the target amount that Caritas will use to help such severely affected people.

The collection is intended to support people affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The funds help provide basic necessities and support access to healthcare and psychological assistance. The initiative also includes support for displaced persons and the reconstruction of affected communities and infrastructure in war-impacted areas.
