The biggest and first Czech hospice, Cesta domu, celebrates 20 years of changing the way Czechs think and talk about death and dying. Jan Mongol Tesárek, whose older sister has worked there from the very start celebrates his 50th and Jan Kroupa, who has been working with Cesta domu for a number of year also is turning 52... And so we decided that we want to celebrate all together: the gifts will go to the hospice and all of us together will enjoy the wonderful feeling of enabling more people to die the way they always wanted: at home surrounded by their loved ones. It is what both of us wish for when our time comes. And since 20 plus 50 and 2 extra makes a total of 72, we made that our goal: lets celebrate this joined birthday by donating CZK 72,000= EUR 3,000 in support of Cesta domu! Everybody who chooses not to miss this birthday party in support of Cesta domu is invited to a very special musical thank you event: a concert of the legendary Sketa Fotr urban-country and their guests at the sheltered Chric brewery (https://www.pivovarchric.cz/kontakt/) on November 20, 2021 in the evening (the party begins at about 6 pm, the main concert will start around 9 pm). It will be possible to sleep over at the brewery attic, if you bring a sleeping bag and a mat. But most importantly, it will be possible to meet the Cesta domu CEO or to have a dance with the Cesta domu head of social services during the event. We look forwards to seeing you there!
