Národní divadlo Brno
The Brno National Theater is joining the wave of solidarity to help South Moravia, which was hit by a devastating tornado last Thursday.
In cooperation with the Diocesan Charity Brno, the organizations are hosting a CARMIN BURAN benefit concert at 5 pm on Friday, July 2, 2021 on the piazzetta in front of the Janáček Theater. The choir and orchestra of Janáček Opera of the National Theater Brno will be conducted by Marko Ivanovič.
Admission to the concert is "free". Instead of paying admission, there will be a collection for the many people who were affected by the tornado.

As you can see on the challenge counter, thanks to you, we got for Moravia, for the Diocesan Charity Brno project called Collection for familles in region affected by tornado:- through the on-line payment amount: CZK 48,096 / 1,857 €
- via DMS during the concert: CZK 40,139 / 1,550 €
- via money box collection during the concert: CZK 72,322 / 2,794 €
- TOTAL TED 166,557 CZK. / 6,201 €
In the final total, we exceeded the target amount of CZK 100,000 / 3,862 € by 60%
Great result !!!
Confirmation of the donation should be issued to you upon request by the Diocesan Charity Brno, for which we have organized a donation call from the NdB.

The Hodonín Regional Charity and the Břeclav Regional Charity help directly in the villages affected by the tornado. At the moment, we are mapping needs and we are ensuring distribution of material. Our teams also provide psychological first aid. Donations to this collection will be used in the coming weeks for follow-up assistance to help people rebuild their homes and return to normal life.
