Camper to Campers, or wandering in the Podkrkonoší and Giant Mountains

Bátor Tábor helped me as a camper, if I can, so I´ll be happy to help it and other campers with sport.
When I was eight, doctors diagnosed me leukemia. Veni, Vidi, Vici. (I came, I saw, I won).
Today I am sixteen, studying high school, happy, enjoying life and fulfilling my dreams. But thanks to leukemia, it wasn't always that way.
The Bátor Tábor Foundation (Bátor means courageous in Hungarian) helps seriously ill children to come back to life, to forget their illnesses for a while, to show them that their life does not end, but maybe just a new stage of it begins...
For Me, too, Bátor Tábor helped me find the way into my “new” life.
If I too can help other seriously ill children, get back to their life, I´m happy to do so. I know from my personal experience, how this little help of mine can change their lives.
With project Camper to Campers, or wandering in the Podkrkonoší and Giant Mountains, I want to support Bátor Tábor through sport and at the same time show people the beauty of the Podkrkonoší and Giant Mountains, theregion where I live and where there are many beautiful, but not always known places.
Together with my friends I will be going on the journey from 13th to 15th July 2021.
The Team of courage has been helping by sports activities since 2014. We combine the brave running challenges of our supporters with helping children with serious illnesses. The mission of the Spolu s odvahou Foundation (part of Bátor Tábor family) is to serve seriously ill children and their families. We meet them in hospitals, we help them return to life through therapy camps, and we hold their hands when they are returning to school. The aim of our programs is to alleviate the mental burden associated with a serious illness. All our programs are free and are designed to develop the skills needed to succeed in life.

Spolu s odvahou Foundation (in Hungary and Poland: Bátor Tábor Foundation) operates in four countries and is the only camp of its kind in Central Europe. Bátor Tábor is also part of the international organization Serious Fun Children’s Network - a worldwide association of camps for seriously ill children, founded in 1988 by the actor Paul Newman.
