TOUR DE FRANCE IN THE DARK: Together for blind children

My name is Ondra and I want to be the first blind Czech to finish the Tour de France bicycle race! But that's not the biggest achievement of my mission. With your help, I am going to raise money to help blind children follow their dreams, just as I once did. The route is 3,414 km long, and if each of you bought 1 km for only 12 EUR, at the end of the race we have 40,000 EUR! Imagine, how many handicapped kids we could help!
I am a blind athlete Ondřej Zmeškal. When I suddenly lost sight in my twenties, it was extremely difficult, but thanks to my sports dreams and the support of people around me, I found my calling again – to be a living inspiration and motivation for those who find themselves in a similar situation. Why I decided to try to succeed in the famous bicycle race Tour de France this year? 1) To prove that with strong will nothing is impossible 2) To raise money in a charity collection, which will support blind children and adults just like me. Let's buy tandem bikes, sports equipment, and technology necessary for spatial orientation for them. Let's get them the personal assistants and sports guides they need to be more independent and chase their own dreams.
Trust me, I know how hard it is... But I also know that even a little help can change a person's life! Me and my "pilot" Marek Peterka will be cycling on Tour de France from June 26 to July 18, 2021, and thanks to GPS tracking you can see our position on the map at all times. The route has an incredible length of 3,414 km which I have to beat on my tandem.
Can I handle this extreme challenge? I don't know yet. But what I do know is that the whole race will be much easier with your support and the higher goal we can achieve together!
