Think of the world? Twenty tasks for ARPOK

20 tasks by password Think globally, act locally. Nowadays, for the first time, some of us feel the consequences of global phenomena realistically and in everyday life and perceive the interconnectedness of the world. People are more aware of how the world around us affects us. And the goal of the challenge is also to think about how we can influence the world.

Let's do it together - whether by keeping the fingers crossed for me during the challenge, by joining the same tasks, or by making a financial contribution.

The aim of the call is to complete 20 small tasks that in some way reflect global issues. From environmental, through social and economic ones.

I believe that everyone has the opportunity to develop themselves and society, even with some small deeds. The key to this is the education. ARPOK is one of the NGOs who are dealing with Global Education. ARPOK's vision is to participate in the sustainable development of the world and to create a society that is Active, Respectful and Open, perceives the Connectivity and Complexity of the world and accepts its share of responsibility.

I got to ARPOK during my studies as a participant in numerous educational programs or outdoor activities. After working on development projects abroad, I returned to this NGO, this time as an implementer of the programs themselves.

Your contribution will go to the implementation of ARPOK activities - for example, seminars for teachers on how to teach on global topics such as migration, climate change and more, and how to communicate these topics with students, tutorials for students or discussions with the public. they focus on the reflection of current events in the world.

To increase my own motivation, I will regularly publish the fulfillment of activities and in the end I will add CZK 20 for each of my completed activity and CZK 100 for a missed task :)
