I myself worked as a Health Clown in hospitals for 12 years. That's why I know why I want to contribute, why I run. I run for the smile, for the moment when the hospital lights up when a colleague of mine with a red nose comes in and changes the atmosphere. Then the pain is relieved because the smile is stronger.
Under the Ústí Region Film Office, a "star team" joined together to run on 21th September 2019 1/2 marathon in Ústí nad Labem for those who cannot run. I am delighted to be able to run with actress Petra Hřebíčková, director Dan Svátek and the famous writer Josef Formánek.
Health clowns bring joy and laughter to hospitals where it is most needed. They are doing a huge amount of important work and we want to take this opportunity to draw attention to their work.
