We are launching a Christmas workplace campaign to raise 30.000 Czech crowns that will fund one year of therapy for a child who, just like six-year old Kuba, lives in a family affected by domestic violence.
Kuba doesn´t go to school yet. He likes aeroplanes and you usually see him with a hoodie on his head which is where he likes to hide. His eyes are often lowered down as if he was constantly watching his feet. It's only when he is flying like an aeroplane that you catch a glimpse of a smile on his face. He feels lonely and lives each day in fear. It's because he is growing up in a family with dad who behaves violently towards his loved ones. Most days, Kuba tries to protect his mum and younger sister.
The strength that this small boy has found within himself is astonishing. Kuba is a great hero. He taught himself to write “PLEASE HELP KUBA” and left this message to a social worker who visited their home. She then contacted Centrum LOCIKA.
Kuba´s plea for help was heard- his family has been coming to Centrum LOCIKA for over a year now. Him and his sister have regular sessions with child psychologists who listen and provide solutions.

Díky Vám a štědrosti ostatních dárců se podařilo shromáždit celkem 14 dárků v celkové výši 7600 korun. Moc Vám za to děkujeme.
I když se nám nepovedlo získat celou částku, Váš finanční dar využijeme na pomoc dětem, které se potýkají s násilím v rodině a potřebují naši pomoc. Minulý rok bylo těchto dětí v našem centru více než 200.
