Let's go hand in hand with a man who has only been giving away all his life - advice, strength, support, and we all love him, and his lessons were one of the most attended lessons at Balance Club Brumlovka. Let's all help a wonderful person - Vláďa Mikuláš, who has suffered from ALS - amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. In support of Vládi, the ADRA Foundation has set up a public collection, so do you.
Most of us can hardly imagine the current situation of the Mikuláš family and that is why we asked the wife of Vláďa Mikuláš to describe the Vladimír nowadays condition and how they would use the money. We would like to thank her for her honesty and courage that we really appreciate.
„Physical condition of Vladimír is getting worse. He moves with difficulties and he can‘ t go anywhere without any help. He needs help with basic daily activities (hygiene, food, dressing up atc.) Almost every month we deal with buying a new aid, adapting our flat and also help in other areas. Now we have been reconstructing our toilet. Very soon we will need a new adapted bathroom to be wheelchair accessible. Vladimír with the ALS illness needs to have a regular exercise, stretching and massages. The therapist comes to our home, we pay for the individual care and that is very financially demanding. We have 2 small children so we think about a personal assistance that we would have to pay too.“
