The floods that struck the Czech Republic in September 2024 may seem like a thing of the past, but their consequences are still evident. Kindergartens and schools reporting their damages face repairs that require time and substantial financial resources. Thanks to the generosity of CARE donors and the emergency funds provided by CARE , we are able to offer support. However, every additional contribution represents another step toward helping children return to their classrooms as soon as possible.
Thanks to your support, we can work together to restore kindergartens and primary schools in the hardest-hit areas.
Thanks to our Czech donors and partners from CARE USA and CARE Germany, CARE was able to start helping with the reconstruction of six schools and kindergartens in the Jeseníky region. So far, we have provided million CZK in aid and we continue our work.
