The ginger tomcat we took in yesterday got the name Vandam and underwent a surgery yesterday. The vet is really excellent and in the end, he managed to save the majority of the leg - he had to amputate only the front part of the paw and also the heel, the rest of the leg was preserved. ๐ฎโค๏ธ๐ We can't tell if the tomcat will use the leg when walking yet, but this is a huge success in itself. ๐
ย Vandam is now hospitalized at the vet, the vet has him under supervision. The tomcat is getting infusion and antibiotics due to the inflammation in his blood. But his life shouldn't be in danger. โค๏ธ Another good news is that the second leg was allright in the end. ๐ฅฐ
