Winter is coming! 2018

Farm Sanctuary Jarikhanda is one of the first shelters for “farm” animals in the Czech Republic. It’s home not only to cows, but also to a horses, pigs, sheep, hens, snail, dogs and cats. And others are still coming. To manage such a shelter is not an easy task and the rescue of other animals now mostly depends on the volunteers and donors. We highly appreciate even the smallest help because it moves us closer to the world we want to live in.

Help our residents get ready for the winter and we will help YOU in return. :) 

Thanks to you we bought 32 hay bales last year that lasted through the whole winter. 

This year... 

...the number of our hay-eating residents doubled! 

Because of this year's (and general) drought one bale is priced at CZK 1000 at this moment. 

Can you help us? 

We do not want your help for free though! :) 
In return we will prepare YOU for the winter. 
Help our residents and we will invite you to one of our autumn workshops. 

What will it be about? 

Preserving, sprouting, drying, fermenting and building houses out of straw.
