I want to donate to the Valasske ekocentrum
Our main activities are practical protection of nature, landscape and environment, ecological education, education and education of children, youth and the public.
In the newly reconstructed building in the former barracks in Valasske Mezirici we run the Valasske ekocentrum where we organize exhibitions, lectures, educational events, courses of traditional folk crafts, educational programs for children. The most successful events include Bird Feet Welcoming, Apple Tree, Bat Night, Advent and Christmas in Wallachia. Traditionally, there is also interest in craft courses - sheep wool processing, spinning on a wheelbarrow, knitting wicker baskets, production of wireless whistles.
At the ecocentre, we have built a demonstration of the Nature Garden of Knowledge where, in the form of workshops, we involve the public in the building of elements of the natural garden - beetles, insects, butterflies, African and raised beds, reptiles and amphibians, ponds.
