POWER OF VOICE
The aim of our project is teaching people with serious physical disabilities how to use computers with their voice.
The mission of the SILOU HLASU (Power of Voice) project is to teach people with severe physical disabilities (whether congenital or resulting from an injury) to fully control a computer and write texts using their voice. After completing this course, participants regain a sense of independence and, above all, privacy while using computer, which gives them a major psychological boost. As a result, they gain a sense of purpose and the opportunity to find employment, which SILOU HLASU is ready to help with. If computer control by voice does not suit a particular client, we are able to find an alternative and better suited method, such as control via head movements, eye tracking, mouth-operated devices, and other assistive technologies. Give a voice to our cause and empower people struggling with a lack of privacy to reclaim their independence—at least in part.
