Česká společnost ornitologická

The Czech Society for Ornithology (CSO) strives for a world where people and birds live in harmony, where people humbly admire nature, seek to understand it, and use it sustainably for themselves, for birds and for other organisms. The CSO studies and protects birds, their habitats and nature as a whole, and through its activities encourages the general public to do the same. The ČSO promotes nature conservation based on scientific knowledge and contributes to the development of ornithology and bird conservation, regardless of political boundaries. The CSO welcomes new members, supporters and donors into its ranks, all of whom are united by a love of birds and a willingness to support or participate in their research and conservation.
