Arnošt Lustig ranks among a handful of Czech personalities whose artistic legacy and personal story are extraordinary even in a global context. With a vision of a more just and humane world that can be changed for the better through understanding, knowledge, and learning from the past, the Arnošt Lustig Foundation, an arts and education organization, has been dedicated to Lustig's message and work in Czechia and abroad since August 21, 2020.
