We are a non-profit organization developing AfaSlovník app, which teaches patients after stroke to speak again. It is the very first logopaedic app for the aphasia treatment in the Czech Republic. However, it can also be used by patients with developmental dysphasia and autism spectrum disorder, or speech therapists and teachers at special schools as a modern logopaedic tool. AfaSlovník serves as a supplement to the speech therapy, but it has an irreplaceable role in enabling patients to distance speech therapy in times of restrictive measures. Our patron is a singer and actor Václav Neckář, who went through the disease himself. Currently, we are working on AfaSlovník for Slovak patients as well.
