Shortly after birth, calves are separated from their mothers and placed in individual pens, where they can spend up to 8 weeks of their lives. Calves are not solitary animals. They need contact with other calves, the opportunity to rest together, play and learn from one another. This needs to change. And you have the chance to offer calves a helping hand.

I’m only a few days old. I want to run, play, explore the world and be around other calves.

There is no one to play with, no one beside me to bond with. I am alone every day.
