The Andel's Hotel team is 100 personalities, but mainly one big family that lives by taking care of our guests and creating a "second home" for them

It was important for the entire team of Andel's Hotel to be actively involved in the local community and neighborhood life in Prague 5. It was therefore natural to become part of the story of the Cibulka estate and a supporter of the Vlček Family Foundation. We are very happy that we can actively participate in the reconstruction process of the future Centre for Children Palliative Care at Cibulka, and that we have become ambassadors of the Foundation's activities. It helps us realize that we can also affect positive changes in the world, and most importantly, it gives us a sense of fulfillment from helping others.

We wish for a world where all families with seriously ill children have excellent care and experience moments of joy. We believe that together with experts and thanks to the support of donors we will succeed in making the Czech Republic one of the countries with the best children's palliative care in the world. That is why CIBULKA - Centre for Children's Complex Care and Children's Inpatient Hospice is being established in the premises of a historic farmstead in Prague - Košíře.
Care for a child with a serious illness is provided by parents in a 24/7 mode. CIBULKA will offer them the opportunity to leave the responsibility of care in the hands of professionals for a few days or weeks and Relax. It is up to the parents/carers whether they choose to spend time together with their child or use it in other ways, such as going on holiday with a healthy sibling.  
The children's hospice with 12 rooms for patients will be used primarily for respite stays.  

  • CIBULKA will offer top-quality medical care and a variety of other services (psychosocial, spiritual, educational, etc.). 
  • CIBULKA will offer accommodation for parents and healthy siblings, cultural and leisure activities. 
  • A training centre for the professional community will be established in the premises of CIBULKA. 
  • The centre will serve families from the end of 2026 onwards. Together we can prove that even in the most difficult time of their lives they experience the most joy.
