The Andel's Hotel team is 100 personalities, but mainly one big family that lives by taking care of our guests and creating a "second home" for them

It was important for the entire team of Andel's Hotel to be actively involved in the local community and neighborhood life in Prague 5. It was therefore natural to become part of the story of the Cibulka estate and a supporter of the Vlček Family Foundation. We are very happy that we can actively participate in the reconstruction process of the future Centre for Children Palliative Care at Cibulka, and that we have become ambassadors of the Foundation's activities. It helps us realize that we can also affect positive changes in the world, and most importantly, it gives us a sense of fulfillment from helping others.

"Thanks to cooperation with the Vlček Family Foundation, I don't go to work just for spreadsheets, numbers and e-mails, but I have a chance to help make the world a better place, and that's a very nice way to live😊" Kateřina Joklová - hotel director.

We wish for no family with a seriously ill child to face their situation alone. That’s why we are creating Cibulka – a Care Centre for seriously ill children and their families – in a historic estate in Prague’s Košíře district, offering professional support as well as space to breathe.
When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, the entire life of the family changes. Parents face exhaustion, lack of sleep, loss of employment and isolation. Every day they struggle with fear, fatigue and uncertainty. Cibulka is being created for them – so they have a place to regain strength and know they are not alone.

At the Cibulka Centre we will offer in particular:

  • respite care that allows parents to catch their breath,
  • short-term stays that ease the transition from hospital to home,
  • end-of-life care, providing a safe and dignified space for the last moments together.
Children and their families will be supported by a multidisciplinary team of professionals – doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, special educators and chaplains.

In 2026, we will begin supporting families through community-based services, and in 2027 we will open the doors of the Cibulka Centre itself.

Join us and become part of Cibulka’s story. Support us today.

Thank you.
