When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, the entire life of the family changes. Parents face exhaustion, lack of sleep, loss of employment and isolation. Every day they struggle with fear, fatigue and uncertainty. Cibulka is being created for them – so they have a place to regain strength and know they are not alone.
At the Cibulka Centre we will offer in particular:
- respite care that allows parents to catch their breath,
- short-term stays that ease the transition from hospital to home,
- end-of-life care, providing a safe and dignified space for the last moments together.
Children and their families will be supported by a multidisciplinary team of professionals – doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, special educators and chaplains.
In 2026, we will begin supporting families through community-based services, and in 2027 we will open the doors of the Cibulka Centre itself.
Join us and become part of Cibulka’s story. Support us today.
Thank you.
