Martin Tomek is a disabled representative of the Czech Republic in para trap shooting. In 2002, he lost his right hand due to a tumour, but even so he belongs among the best shooters in the world, last year he was ranked 7th in the world championship and got nominated successfully even this year. He believes he will make his medal-winning dream come true there, however, the championship was postponed due to COVID-19 till next year and the MEYS support can cover only less than a fifth of Martin’s costs for the new season.
