We are a human rights organization that defends the rights of migrants and provides them with comprehensive support without discrimination; we promote integration and coexistence, and have been working toward a fair and open society for more than 30 years. We provide free legal, social, and psychosocial counseling and intercultural services to migrants and refugees in the Czech Republic. We engage with the public, work with the media, conduct awareness-raising and educational activities, and organize events for newcomers, stakeholders, and the broader public. SIMI strives for systemic change and influences legislation in the areas of migration, integration, and refugee affairs, thereby improving the lives of migrants in the Czech Republic.
