The purpose of the association is to protect and promote the natural environment of light and darkness with an emphasis on reducing light pollution, improving the quality of indoor lighting, promoting a healthy lifestyle, protecting biodiversity and nocturnal ecosystems, and increasing safety in the night environment. The association achieves its goals through educational, research, and advocacy activities and cooperates with public institutions, industry, entrepreneurs, and the general public to promote sustainable solutions in the field of lighting and protecting the night environment. The association operates at both national and international levels and cooperates with partners around the world. To ensure its activities, it may engage in economic activities, including the operation of an e-shop, with all proceeds being used exclusively to fulfill the main purpose of the association.
