Finanční podpora míří na rozvoj těchto aktivit a zároveň na přímou pomoc dětským pacientům a jejich rodinám – úhradu léčby v ČR i zahraničí, cestovní a ubytovací náklady, paliativní a domácí péči – s cílem urychlit přístup českých dětí k nejmodernější léčbě a zvýšit šanci na delší a kvalitnější život.

Prostředky budou využity zejména na podporu výzkumných a osvětových aktivit, popř. provozní náklady nadačního fondu, aby většina nadačních prostředků mohla být využita pro přímou pomoc dětem a rodinám.

The Nina Foundation is dedicated to combating diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), one of the most aggressive childhood cancers. In the Czech Republic, the foundation systematically funds and connects research, the introduction of new treatment methods (such as epigenetic and targeted therapies, and immunotherapy), clinical trials, modernization of oncology and neurosurgery centers, and the education of specialists. Financial support is directed towards the development of these activities, as well as direct assistance to young patients and their families—covering treatment costs both in the Czech Republic and abroad, travel and accommodation expenses, and palliative and home care. The goal is to accelerate access for Czech children to the most advanced treatments and to increase their chances for a longer and better quality of life.

Funds are primarily allocated to support research and awareness activities, as well as operational costs of the foundation, so that the majority of resources can be used for direct help to children and their families.
