In 2022, we established the Czechitas Endowment Fund to help make education more accessible to an even wider group of women who are generally underrepresented in IT. With the Fund, we particularly help women who find themselves in a difficult economic situation, want to change it, but cannot financially afford to pay the course fees, either at the subsidised rate or split into several instalments that we offer at Czechitas.
One Digital Academy course fee costs CZK 84,700. Since the launch of the Endowment Fund, we have received 51 applications for support and have fully supported 14 women in their studies, some of whom already have new jobs in the technology sector.
Let's come together to support a specific woman in a difficult economic situation and help her on her way to a successful career in IT and a more confident and happy life. Together we will give the supported woman the gift of studying at the Czechitas Digital Academy. This three-month intensive course will help her grow her career and get a job in a promising technology field.

At Czechitas, we have spent the last decade opening up the world of technology to women. During this time, we have helped hundreds of women find the courage to make significant life changes despite facing obstacles.
Thanks to the Czechitas Endowment Fund Báry Bühnové, we have provided financial support to 31 women who could not afford to study at our standard subsidised price. Yet they are the ones who need well-paid jobs in IT.

How does your support change lives? Every crown from you means the opportunity for one woman to change her life and find a stable job in a promising IT sector. We fully fund the studies of the women we support at the Czechitas Digital Academy (Data, Cybersecurity, Testing and Web), and now also at the AI Transformation Manager course. It costs up to 100,000 CZK to help one woman start writing a new chapter of her story.
70% of employed women will improve their salary IT is a high-demand sector where 77 % of companies in the Czech Republic with vacant ICT positions have difficulty finding suitable candidates. Our female graduates are helping to fill this gap, with 70% of them also set to significantly increase their earnings. In addition to higher pay, 90% of our female graduates enjoy the satisfaction of a new job offering stability, career growth opportunities, and a future that will not be compromised by automation.
