We do not want to stand by and watch these crimes doing nothing. Atrea, in cooperation with the non-profit organization Post Bellum, has set up a fundraising campaign for an ambulance to transport wounded Ukrainian defenders. True heroes!
This specially adapted all-terrain vehicle will be used by Ukrainian medics to save the lives of soldiers wounded at the front and transport them from the combat zone directly to field hospitals. Specifically, the car goes to the medical section of the Ukrainian military intelligence. We are coordinating everything with the renowned non-profit organization Post Bellum, the Ukrainian military attaché, and Ondrej will personally deliver this field ambulance to Ukraine.

Any amount you deposit into the transparent account will be doubled by Atrea up to CZK 270.000, which is the final amount for which we will purchase the car.

Let's help those who defend their own country and Europe from Russian barbarism to survive!

On behalf of the boys who are fighting in the war for their country and ours against the Russian aggressors, I would like to thank you all who supported our corporate fundraiser.

The Czech volunteer paramedic who saved dozens of lives and trained thousands of soldiers in tactical medicine, with whom we were beginning negotiations, died last week. Honor his memory and heroism. Cohen – another Czech soldier, who you may know from TW, lost his leg. These people are preventing Russia from taking over other countries, which would otherwise be basically a matter of time, as you contributors no doubt know.

I handed the car over to the special forces in Ukraine on Sunday. They were genuinely pleased, the car is going into the field today to save lives. It's pulling guys straight from ground zero (the line of contact) to field hospitals.

My little personal note - indifference kills as well as missiles. Thanks for not being like that.

Thanks a lot for the Atrea Foundation.

POST BELLUM
Ukraine is bleeding. We do not want to just passively watch the injustice and aggression our friends face because they choose to share the values of freedom and democracy with us. For almost three years now, we have been buying protective and medical equipment and taking it to Ukraine as quickly as possible and where it is most needed. Vests and helmets from us are used by defenders on the front line, many tons of medical equipment save lives. We have supplied fire and ambulance vehicles, drones or optical equipment. Ukraine is facing a second winter of war. The Russian aggressor is targeting the energy infrastructure and more than 70% of Ukraine's thermal production capacities are either occupied or damaged. Defense forces, hospitals and the civilian population may face power outages. Let´s give give warmth and light to Ukraine.

The important things do not change with the times. Whether it’s the stories from the times we ourselves faced war and totalitarianism or the ones happening right now just a few hundred kilometres away from us, they are connected by the longing for freedom, safety, and one’s home. Our own experience with war and totalitarianism in the 20th century makes us obligated to help others.

In 2019, the non-profit organisation Post Bellum set up an office in Lviv with the goal of filming the witness accounts for the Paměť národa archive. Our colleagues in Ukraine recorded dozens of stories mostly from survivors of Stalinist repressions, dissidents, and political prisoners. After the outbreak of the war, they asked for our help. We could not decline. Thanks to your support, we have supplied the defenders of Ukraine with thousands of bulletproof vests and helmets, tonnes of medical equipment and optical devices as well as fully equipped ambulances and fire trucks. Dozens of human lives have verifiably been saved thanks to this. All the aid provided has been non-lethal in nature.

All materials needed have been consulted with experts from the Army of the Czech Republic. The recipients of our aid are predominantly frontline fighters, members of special forces units. The assistance is implemented through the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic. Representatives of the Czech Embassy in Kyiv then oversee the correct use and distribution of the material to those in need.

In cooperation with the Donio portal and, above all, six thousand generous donors, we managed to collect funds for equipment of two field hospitals that play a vital role in saving the lives of wounded soldiers. We have been delivering the material on an ongoing basis and the vast majority are already serving in hospitals. The remaining material will be delivered by the end of the year.
Together with the general public, we remind ourselves that the war in Ukraine is still on and that we must not be indifferent. On February 24, 2024, together with the organizations People in Need, Million Moments for democracy and the European Congress of Ukrainians we organized a rally for the 2nd anniversary of the war. The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, also spoke at the Old Town Square.

On the evening of August 20, 2024, together with the NGO´s mentioned above, we organized a commemorative event called "Go home, Ivan" in Boris Němcov's park. We remembered the time when we, Czechia, faced Soviet aggression too.

je to jen kapka v moři, ale i díky všem statečným, kteří Ukrajině pomáhají, se budeme moci jednou našim dětem podívat s klidným svědomím do očí, až se budou ptát, co jsme udělali my
