The state of cat population on the streets of Czechia gets worse and worse every year. There are thousands of kittens, adult and senior cats waiting for a place in an overfilled rescues with insufficient funds. There are 150-250 cats in the care of our shelter throughout the year. And to be able to care for them in a way they deserve, we need you help.

Abandoned cats - Each year we care for hundreds of abandoned cats. We try to offer a shelter for them, provide veterinary care for them and find them a forever home. Cats who end up in our shelter get to us in a variety of ways, whether they are throuwn out by their owners or born outside, whether their owners pass away or they simply don´t want to care for them anymore. Every cat has a unique story.

Ill cats - We care for a variety of sick and ill cats every day. We provide them a broad spectre of care, whether it is a more intensive care such as IV infusions, feeding them through a tube or managing their wounds, or easier tasks such as administering their medication to meek but also feral cats.

Babies - Every year we intake tens of kitten babies, whether it is those without a cat mom, to whose we provide intensive care (feeding and caring for them every 2-3 hours), or those with a mom. In that case we try to provide the mother with a comfortable and safe space to raise her family.

Feral cats - There are also ferals in need of our help and not every organisation is able to care for them. feral cats are full of fear, they dont understand that we are here to help them, sometimes they even attack humans. We provide a comfortable environment for them, as to eliminate possible stress factors, and we provide them with necessary care, whether its neutering or socialisation. We try to accustom them to human interaction to get them ready for adoption, or when it´s possible for them to return to a safe colony, we release them after neutering.

Trapping - Our team also traps cat outside. We catch feral cats, who need help and care which they otherwise wouldn´t be able to get. We trap ferals in cat colonies to neuter them, feral kittens, that wouldn ´t survive outside, sick cats and pregnant cat moms, who can give birth in safety afterwards.
