Why is this project being created?
People who come to St. Joseph's Home have not yet had a place where they can naturally meet with people suffering from multiple sclerosis. The new facility will provide the missing space for meetings, education and joint activities. It will also help break down the barrier between the sick and the healthy.
What will it bring?
🌿 Herbarium – an exhibition on medicinal plants, which will enrich the region's offerings and open the door to learning about nature
👪 Meeting place – connecting the world of healthy and sick people (herb garden, café, bicycle museum, church)
🦽 Support for the sick – group activities, handicrafts and leisure activities, lectures or even film screenings
🤗 Presentation and integration – an opportunity for people with multiple sclerosis to exhibit and sell their own products, get involved in running the information centre or garden
🎓 Caregiver education – courses and seminars for families and professionals
🙌 Sharing circles – a safe space where patients and caregivers can share their experiences, joys and concerns and support each other

What will we buy with the donations?
Your support will help finance the most important parts of the construction: floors, walls, installations, roof, windows and the entire kitchen. This will create a safe, functional and cosy space where patients will feel at home, where they can grow, meet and find new energy.
