Debating is a competition between two teams of three members each, who argue according to strict rules on controversial topics of our time. The winner is determined by the content and strength of the presented arguments, the strategies of the teams and speakers, as well as the speaking style of the debaters. Debating teaches critical thinking, the use of information sources, and cultivates verbal expression.
For 30 years, the non-profit organization Association of Debate Clubs has been organizing debate competitions in the Czech Republic. Our goal is to support the active self-education of young people, teach them to engage in constructive discussions, uncover misinformation, and become active citizens.

- Organize the Debatiáda competition annually for primary school students,
- Support 40 high school debate clubs and organize tournaments for them,
- Send dozens of participants to international tournaments abroad,
