The Limity jsme my legal team is now in its sixth year of helping to defend against both government sanctions and lawsuits by fossil hyenas trying to stop the climate justice movement.
In that time, the folks on the legal team have not only had successes in defending individual people, but also successes that, without exaggeration, have led to the cultivation of legal space and police behavior towards those participating in civil protests. Among the most important ones, it is worth mentioning the following.

- the inadmissibility of mass preventive legitimization of participants in rallies
- the illegality of the police action against foreign participants of Klimakemp 2017, when the police harassed the participants and committed inhumane practices
- the illegality of the police's actions in preventing journalists from documenting police interventions
Perhaps even more importantly, however, is the fact that the police, in cooperation with the authorities, very often make mistakes in their efforts to criminalize civil disobedience actions, and repeatedly accuse people of participating in direct actions according to a completely random pattern, simply on the basis of the fact that they are involved in an activist collective or are friends with activists.

But as they say, all fun comes at a cost, and even though a lot of the work is done by volunteers, and even our attorneys do some of the work "pro bono," the financial cost of providing legal assistance grows with each passing year, in proportion to the number of protests and subsequent efforts to sanction and sue them.
The legal team provides all assistance free of charge, so that no one is excluded and everyone can defend themselves, whether or not they have the financial means to do so.
