ŠKODA AUTO already for 20 years supports programmes of Zdravotní klaun specifically designed for hospitalized children as well as those , in a home care and with combined disabilities. There are 93 professional Health Clowns in the Czech Republic who regularly visit 63 children´s hospitals, 10 retirement homes and 1 hospice. They help patients to go through their treatment process with a smile.

The mission of Health Clowns is to create a relaxed atmosphere,  especially right inside  the rooms of hospitalized children, in specialized ambulances, escorting children to operations and also directly in the  households with seriously sick children. You can meet them as well in other medical facilities for children and elderly. The goal of the Health Clowns is to bring joy, good mood and above all hope to places, where these features arecommonly not available.

And that is exactly why I decided to connect my farewell from ŠKODA AUTO with Zdravotní klaun. I strongly believe that this symbolic moment will have a profound positive impact on many suffering children.
